        &lt;div&gt;&lt;p&gt;The 2009 Taiwan International A Cappella Festival will be held from October16-25. Everyone in Taiwan will be able to enjoy the beautiful sounds of a cappella singing, as well as the joy and energy of many a cappella ensembles! Singers from Taiwan will also have the opportunity to share with and learn from other singers from around the world!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This year&amp;rsquo;s festival includes an International Contemporary A Cappella Competition, International Master&amp;rsquo;s Class, International Group Concert Tour, and a Gala Concert. This year&amp;rsquo;s concert will be different from past concerts where international groups were invited to perform; rather the winners of the international competition will perform at the Gala Concert. Not only will this allow the winning groups to show their stuff, audiences will also be able to see a greater variety of excellent music. Motivated by the desire to make music a part of everyday life and to progress with the times, the Taiwan International A Cappella Festival continuously strives be creating in providing opportunities for musicians to create new harmonious music. Through a cappella music, we hope to bring happiness, emotion, and harmony to every corner of society.&lt;/p&gt;

        &lt;div&gt;&lt;h3&gt;Taiwan International A Cappella Competition&lt;/h3&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Some significant changes have been made to the singing competitions for the 2009 Taiwan International A Cappella Festival. The international concert has been changed to a gala concert, which will give winners of the international competition an opportunity to give greater expression to their musical abilities. It will also provide an opportunity for those audiences who can&amp;rsquo;t attend the competition to experience a cappella at its best.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Groups in the national competition this year will only perform two songs, as opposed to three songs last year. Groups in the international competition will still perform three numbers. Since the whole competition will finish in one day, if you love a cappella music, prepare to have the whole day free to enjoy the competition between top-notch groups from Taiwan and abroad!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;International groups coming this year are from a variety of countries, including America, Germany, Holland, Austr&lt;span&gt;alia, Japan, Korea, Singapore&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;and Hong Kong. It will be a great showing of diverse styles and music from both the East and West!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;A new year is here, which means this year&amp;rsquo;s contemporary a cappella festival will be here before you know it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There are many changes in this year&amp;rsquo;s Taiwan International A Cappella Competition. Please read the registration instructions carefully if you&amp;rsquo;re interested in participating.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;A few of the major changes are as follows:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Competition date: 2009/10/18. Formerly a two-day process, the competition will be completed in one day.&lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;Participants compete for the Best Lead Vocal must sing at least 2/3 of the song to qualify as lead vocal.&lt;/li&gt;
